Add

Prices of Bitcoin tumbled below level of $9000 this Friday, marking its lowest level in three and a half weeks. This fall comes in the face of the prospects and impeding regulatory clamp down on digital currencies around the world. The incidents of frauds and theft of the asset class has gone up significantly in the recent months, like the Coincheck fiasco to relatively minor Coin Drop Markets fraud.

At 8.24am (1324 GMT), the best know cryptocurrency and the largest digital currency by market capitalisation was quoted down by 4.19 per cent at $8,880.10 on the Luxenbourg based Bitstamp exchange.
