First Female partner hired by Andreessen Horowitz for Cryptofund
According to an announcement on June 25, Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz has recruited first female partner named Huan as a general investing partner to manage the company’s newly formed $300 million cryptocurrency
Huan served as a federal prosecutor with the US Department of justice for 10 years. She was also a director on board of coinbase. She has experience in digital asset and cryptocurrency startups. Ben Horowitz, co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz said: Huan allegedly led an investigation into Mt.Gox and went after the corrupt agents on silk road task force

Andreessen Horowitz has created a new and upcoming crypto fund, That will invest in a host of companies from blockchain projects to initial coin offering(ICOs), according to Bloomberg. All crypto deals by the firm will be reportedly conducted from this fund. Chris Dixon, a general partner said that the venture capital firm had till date invested about $100 million in digital currency in its last fund
