Rosenstein formulates Crypto Strategies


The U.S government has been planning developed strategies with experts from different fields for regulating Cryptocurrency. The Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, stated that the Justice Department is discussing the launch of a strategy force for regulating the virtual currencies.

Rosenstein placed the issues of Cryptocurrencies at the Financial Services Roundtable and planned the management of their strategy. The meeting was held with Governor Tim Pawlenty and a number of other notable American bankers.

“So what we’re working on now with our cybercrimes task force within the department is an effort to develop a comprehensive strategy to deal with that”, said Rosenstein.

Cryptocurrency is considered to be the new challenge that the world is facing since the transparency of the traditional Financing system is getting obsolete with every passing day. In 2017, Rosenstein had enlightened on the issues of Crypto usage in a fentanyl case where Chinese traders used Internet as a mean of selling the goods.

“Responsible encryption “ was asked for and expected by Rosenstein . He also said that if any encryption is passed unlawfully, criminal activities get an easy access. Hence, individual responsibility is essential to maintain a safe living and he assured of putting in all efforts for the cause.
