Seoul Business School to Offer a Crypto and Blockchain Focused MBA

This Friday, Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies announced that the educational institution would start offering MBA courses focussing on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. aSSIST (Seoul based graduate school) interprets the MBA degree in perspective of technology, crypto economics and business strategy. This is a one and a half year degree course.

According to one of the graduate school’s representative, The intention and mission of this programme is to rectify the lack of academic research in this fairly growing industry. The university aims at providing systematic education as many people are interested in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.

The school elucidated the curriculum of the MBA programme according to which, the course will be focussed on attaining in-depth understanding and learning of BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum), smart contract technology, cryptology and EOS along with other crypto and blockchain related topics. The course will also include crypto economics dwelling the studies of digital currencies, micro and macro economics, behavioural economics and mechanism design. Students pursuing this course are expected to learn and understand management economics, strategic statistics, crypto funds, dapp planning and writing strategy for whitepapers.

Established in the year 2004, aSSIST has been offering Masters and PhD degrees in business administration, Technology management and other science and technology-based topics. The degree programmes offered by the school enables possibilities of acquiring dual degrees for its students from well known and established institutions in Europe and the United States. Three most prominent universities working hand in hand with aSSIST are Aalto University(Finland), State University of New York (USA) and Temple University Fox School of Business (USA).
