Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla has revealed on Twitter how much worth of Bitcoins he actually owns.
After being questioned about the reasons why so many people impersonated him to push crypto scams, he tweeted back and shed light on the matter.
“What’s with all the ETH spam?” someone on Twitter asked. Musk made a reply to this by saying, “Not sure. I let Jack know, but it’s still going.” Jack here is the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey.
He then tweeted on Thursday and revealed that he actually owns no cryptocurrency. Although, there happens to be .25 BTC that he has in his store, which a friend has sent to him long time back. That sums up to about $2500 according to Friday evening prices.
For a billionaire like Musk, that’s equal to nothing.
In 2017, news of Musk being the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin became viral. This post by Sahil Gupta, an intern of Musk’s other branch was sent back to Musk. To this, Musk replied that he has no clue where his Bitcoins are stored.
So, even if he wants to access his coins, he is unable to.
For a billionaire of Musk’s stature, that’s not so much of a loss.
